Ocarina - Bass

The Ocarina is an ancient vessel flute distinguished by its unique resonance pattern and is among the oldest wind instruments found across many cultures worldwide. Ocarina-type instruments have held particular importance in Chinese and Meso-American traditions, where they were often shaped as animals, especially birds.

While vessel flutes may be crafted from materials such as plastic, wood, glass, or metal, the ocarina is traditionally made from ceramic. Svaram’s Bass Ocarina is hand-crafted from carefully selected sonorous wood sourced from the Auroville plateau, offering a deep and grounded tonal presence.
